Prior to last Monday's 0-0 draw at Bedford, St Ives had three home games on the trot drawing, winning and losing them in that order. The last was a 4-2 reverse to a resurgent Chalfont St Peter played, perhaps suitably for two sides with "Saint" in their name, on Easter Saturday.
St Ives remain in the play-off places and will be hoping to stay there as the season comes to its close. Ware of course are on something on a roll with their last defeat eight games ago and revenge for that exacted against Egham last week.
Both sides will be looking to do better than share the points as was done at Wodson Park in October when Kieran Bishop scored our goal in the first meeting between our clubs.
