Ware suffering with injuries and suspensions to key players had enough chances to get something out of this game but for some unlucky finishing and brilliant goal keeping by Jamie Stannard in the Felixstowe goal.
Ware had their chances especially when Michael Deane picked up a headed clearance and unleashed a powerful shot that beating the keeper and was amazed to see a defender pop up from nowhere to clear off the line and put the ball out for a corner.
Alaa Oudji then put Marcus Milner through and the latter tried to scoop the ball over the keeper but scooped the ball over the bar, another combination of passing between Kazim Bishop and Khale Dacosta who crossed to Ryan Wade who then slid the ball to Marcus Milner who should have shot first time but paused and hit his shot into the side netting.
Felixstowe were very busy with the defence working very hard to repel the Ware attacks and Ryan Clark who was an outlet for the back four picking up ball after ball and taking the attack to the ware defence throughout the game.
In the 10 minute Finbarr Robins was fouled on the ball and the referee waved play on and Ben Cranfield ran through and lobbed Rhys Madden in the ware goal, Felixstowe then had a chance to increase their lead when David Bloomfield passed to Ben Cranfield who then returned the pass an Bloomfield fired over the bar.
Ware came back with efforts of their own when Michael Deane just missed getting his toe to the ball that was crossed into the box by Ryan Wade and another Michael Deane shot that was deflected for a goal kick.
In the 34th minute Felixstowe increased their lead when a Bradley Barber corner was met by Ben Cranfield who steered the ball into the net to give Felixstowe a 2-0 lead.
The last chance of the half fell to Michael Deane whose shot was saved by Jamie Stannard.

Ware started the second and had a chance early on when a Ryan Wade free kick was bent around the wall and smacked against the cross bar and cleared down field to safety.
Kieran Bishop who came on as a second half substitute robbed Ryan Birchfield but couldn’t get a shot off and the ball was cleared, a Lee White free kick was headed goal wards but the keeper plucked the ball out of the air.
Other chances fell to Kieran Bishop, Murat Karagul, Khale Dacosta and Lee White who all had shots saved by Keeper Jamie Stannard.
Felixstowe were always a danger and never more so when Murat Karagul was caught in possession just over the half way line Stewart Ainsley saw Rhys Madden off his line and chipped the ball over him and into the net to put Felixstowe 3-0 ahead and finish worthy winners of the tie.
Back to the drawing board on Tuesday for the next league match against Chatham Town FC and try to get back to winning ways.
