Ware 0 Waltham Abbey 2
Abbey complete a double over Ware to rise above them in the table.
With Josh Oyibo suspended whilst Alaa Oujdi and Ryan Hervel were disappointingly unavailable Ware struggled to get any grip on this game.
The visitors, on their best run of the season, played well in the fist half and deservedly went in at the break two goals to the good - Michael Spencer scoring both. He might have made it three after the break but was eventually substituted as Abbey looked to hold on to what they had.
That inevitably meant that Ware started to put on some pressure as the minutes ticked away and Gareth Price had two good chances but was denied by James Pellin before Laurence Vaughan caught the keeper out with a long range shot that crashed against the post. Vaughan later supplied Murat Karagul but his shot was wide as Pellin again closed him down.
Time ran out and the visitors completed their third consecutive victory scoring seven goals without conceding any. They now go one place above Ware in the table although the Blues do have two games in hand.
After a good run earlier in the season Ware lost the away fixture against Waltham Abbey at the start of five consecutive defeats. Another decent run in the league has again been halted by Abbey and Ware now face tough assignments in their next four games.
