Potters Bar Town 3 Ware 3
Ware share the spoils but once again surrender a commanding lead.
Another astonishing comeback by opponents saw Ware share the points after being 3-0 up.
Dernell Wynter scored for the fourth game running with the opening goal but not to be outdone Kieran Bishop scored in his fifth consecutive game. Kieran now has 21 league goals making him joint top scorer in the division.
Jimmy Hartley was the other scorer as Ware fielded the same outfield starting line up for the fifth game in succession.
The consistency seemed to be working as the Blues were 3-0 up after 37 minutes when Bishop notched his goal but one for the home side shortly before half time set the nerves jangling. Having lost at Egham seven days before after being 2-0 up and lost other games after holding the lead frayed nerves were hardly surprising.
And so it proved as the Scholars came back in the second half, their equaliser coming late on yet again.
At least Ware have at last gained a point from a match against a fellow Hertfordshire side but there is now too long a list of matches where points have been lost from a winning position, especially after conceding late or very late goals. Doubtless Ken Charlery and his players are as frustrated as the rest of us and while we leave them to get on with correcting the situation patience and support is what is required from those of us on the side lines.
