Ware ended high flying Brentwood Town’s unbeaten eleven match run with their best performance of the season so far.
Ware played their usual high tempo game right from the start but the first chance went to Brentwood Town when Daryl Robson sent in a cross intended for Jack Gardner but Ware’s Alaa Oujdi was first to the ball and he safely headed back to keeper Rhys Madden in the Ware goal, Ware then produced some excellent fast flowing football through Ware skipper Lee White, Alaa Oujdi, Finbarr Robins, Murat Karagul and Khale Dacosta whose runs with Alaa Oujdi down the wing were causing Brentwood Town all sorts of problems throughout to which Brentwood Town had no answer to.
Brentwood Town’s Jack Gardner had one of the few shot’s that his team produced with shooting straight at Rhys Madden who saved comfortably, Finbarr Robins then set up a Ware attack involving Alaa Oujdi and Charlie Ledula with latter shooting just over the bar and then an exchange of passes between Albert Adu and Murat Karagul resulted in Alaa Oujdi curling in a cross which was headed over the bar by the Brentwood Town defence for a corner, from the resulting corner by Alaa Oujdi the keeper punched the ball out into the path of Lee White and his header was cleared off the line by Daryl Robson, Ware kept the pressure up when Charlie Ledula hit the post after good work by Murat Karagul and Kieran Bishop, Brentwood Town then had keeper Ollie Bowles to thank for saving a shot from Murat Karagul at the near post, two more chances followed with Kieran Bishop and Albert Adu firing wide when in good positions.
At the half time whistle both sides went in level at 0-0.
Half-time: Brentwood Town FC 0-0 Ware FC.
Brentwood Town started brightly at the beginning of the second half with a shot from Daryl Robson being deflected for a corner and from the corner Danny Dafter hit his shot over the bar and should probably have done better with the opportunity, from then on it was mostly Ware in control with the dangerous Charlie Ledula passing to Kieran Bishop whose shot/cross was hit wide and in the 51st minute Ware took the lead when Murat Karagul rolled the ball from inside of the box to Albert Adu who ran in and fired into the far corner of the net and put Ware 1-0 ahead, Ware continued to impress with a Finbarr Robins run from midfield who hit his shot over the bar and then Kieran Bishop putting in Murat Karagul whose shot was well saved by the keeper two more saves by the keeper from Albert Adu and Murat Karagul kept Brentwood in with a squeak of getting something out of the game and his was evident when Sam Bantick shot over the bar after some good work by Yeshaya Lomotey, Ware hit back with the impressive Kazim Bishop (back after injury) hitting a powerful shot that thumped against the cross bar with the keeper beaten and then in the 85th minute Ware took the lead when Ryan Wade was fouled just outside the box Ryan Wade took the free kick and curled the ball low into the far corner of the net to increase Ware’s lead 2-0, in the closing stages Marcus Milner and Albert Adu combined for Alaa Oujdi whose run and shot was hit over the bar.
At the final whistle Ware ran out deserved and comfortable winners 2-0.
Final score: Brentwood Town FC 0-2 Ware FC.
