Ware come from behind to snatch a deserved draw.

Both sides started well with Ware having the first opportunity to take the lead when Kieran Bishop fired over the bar in front of goal, in the 8th minute Maldon & Tiptree took the lead through Joe Pearman who ran through and smashed a shot past Ware keeper Rhys Madden to go 1-0 in front.
Two minutes later in the 10th minute Albert Adu ran onto a through ball from Ware skipper Lee White to hit the ball past Maldon & Tiptree keeper Jack Giiddins that went in off the post and put Ware level at 1-1.
There was some good play between both sides and they were pretty well matching each other until the 20th minute when a Jack Stevenson free kick was headed in by the dangerous Leon McKenzie to restore Maldon & Tiptree’s lead 2-1.
Ware were playing well with Martin Milner, Albert Adu and Khale Dacosta causing all sorts of problems for the Maldon & Tiptree’s defence with Khale Dacosta having a great chance of levelling the scores but hit his shot tamely at the keeper who saved comfortably.
Ware keeper came to the rescue when saving a 25 yard shot from Sypho Mtyana and then tipped a Leon McKenzie effort over the bar, the final effort of the first half fell to Gavin Greenfield who headed a Jack Stevenson corner over the bar.

Maldon & Tiptree came out firing in the second half and in the 46th minute Joe Pearman had a chance to increase the home side’s lead and should have done better when he shot over the bar from outside the box and in the 49th minute Jack Stevenson’s free kick thudded against the bar with Rhys Madden well beaten.
Ware came back through Martin Milner whose powerful shot was superbly put round the post by Jack Giddins, Ware started to settle down and got their passing game together and saw Albert Adu shoot wide from a long way out.
A free kick by Alaa Oujdi was cleared and fell to Lee White he passed to Martin Milner and the latter shot wide when in a good position to equalize.
In the 69th minute Kieran Bishop levelled the score when with his back to goal turned and hit a shot that hit the next and pull back to 2-2, as the game drifted to a close Maldon & Tiptree came close with a Jack Stevenson free kick that was saved by Rhys Madden low down to his left.
Ware’s Kieran Bishop had a good opportunity to wrap up the points and his shot was well saved by Jack Giddins and the last chance of the match fell to Maldon & Tiptree’s Mitch Hunter who headed wide a cross from the ever busy Jack Stevenson.
Final Score: Maldon & Tiptree 2-2 Ware.
