Under-23s move up in the Development League

1 year ago By Stephen King

Two wins on the trot lift the development side towards the top of their league.

A comfortable looking 3-0 home win over Witham Town on Wednesday, November 22nd has lifted the under-23s into fourth place in the table at the time of writing. The goals came from Lewis Byrne-Hewitt, Elliot Harris and Garjay Thompson to secure Ware's second win in five days.

Byrne-Hewitt also scored twice at Haringey Borough on the previous Friday with Warren Kayembe and Yacine Aiba adding their contributions to give Ware a 4-1 half time lead before Borough pulled two back in the second half.

This coming Wednesday (November 29th) the under-23s will be at home again when they take on Glenn Tamplin's Billericay Town in their ninth of twenty league games. Entry for these games is just £4 and £2.
