Leaving aside yours truly on the extreme left those present from left to right in the picture are:
Maurice Stevens - Right back from 1968/9, he playing in our first appearance in the FA Cup first round at Luton.
John Webb - centre half in the great Len Bayliss side of the late sixties and played a crucial role in the FA Cup game at Luton.
Phil Francis - Scorer of our goal in the Luton game.
Ivan Johnson - His eighth minute header against the then mighty Walthamstow Avenue proved to be the only goal of the game and took us through to meet Luton in the FA Cup first round.
Wally Luck (front) - Our current president was already a hard working committee man in the sixties.
Nick Whitehead (behind Wally Luck) - Right back in the 1965/6 side that had such great success in various cup competitions.
Nat Miller - Joined us for the 69/70 season and played in the successful Athenian Div 2 Cup final side of 1973. He scored 22 goals between 1969 and 1975.
Graham Ward - Ware born, "Jubsy" played right back and half back in the successful 1964/5 side.
Arnold Hubbard - 17 goals in 65/6 including in the 1-1 FA Cup draw at Stevenage, a game that was reported in the Daily Telegraph
Terry Akers - 5 goals from midfield. A broken leg forced him to miss the Luton game.
Brian Stockwell - a winger with 76 goals from 1962 to 1969. Another Ware man, Brian also played in the Luton game.
