The best way to keep up to date with Ware FC

Haringey fixture rescheduled for the new year.

8 months ago By Stephen King

Their FA Trophy success means our home game with the Middlesex side will not now take place on the 25th November.

Haringey's 1-0 victory in their FA Trophy 2nd Qualifying Round replay against Sittingbourne sees them at home to Thame United on November 25th when they were due to visit Wodson Park in the league.

The immediate outcome is that we have agreed a new date for the league game which will be Tuesday, 6th February. A secondary outcome is that, for the moment at least, we have no match on November 25th although there is the outside chance that we can bring a game forward from later in the season.

Other than that our next home game will be on Tuesday, December 5th when we welcome Welwyn Garden City in the Herts Senior Cup. Football starved fans should welcome the visit of a side that is doing well in both the FA Vase and the Spartan South Midlands League. An entertaining game is in prospect to celebrate the end of what will have been nearly four weeks without a home match.
