Anwar Uddin steps down from manager's role.

1 year ago By Stephen King

Drop into relegation zone leads club to take action.

Anwar Uddin has stepped down as manager of Ware FC. The club faces a huge five weeks in the battle against relegation from the Ryman Division One North, and Anwar has decided, due to his ongoing work commitments across the football industry, to allow a fresh face to help with our continued battle for survival.

The club would like to thank Anwar and his management team of Steve Clark, Danny Foster and Richard Bates for their hard work and professionalism over the past three months. They took over the club under extremely difficult circumstances, creating much-needed stability and assembling a team that has performed well without getting the points they deserve in recent weeks.

We now turn our attention to this Saturday's home fixture against Witham Town a‪t Wodson Park. Kick off is at 3pm.
